Across the Bridge, a serene scene, rich in detail and mark making. This is a beautiful bridge in a local countryside village in Surrey. We have been visiting this bridge for years and have always played Pooh sticks there and still do even now, with our ( now adult) daughters. If you look closely see if you spot the two floating sticks in the water to the right of the bridge.
This hard ground etching was carefully etched by drawing into the ground surface.The plate is then placed in an acid bath to allow the acid to 'bite' into the plate, the incised line or sunken area holds the ink.
 
Actual print size 20 cm wide by 26.5cm height on paper which is approx 26 cm wide and 38 cm deep.
Printed onto Somerset paper with black Intaglio etching ink.
Print is numbered, titled 'Across the Bridge' and signed.
