A familiar allotment or garden view, my old allotment shed is in a sorry state but it is full of character and is perfect just the way it is. This print shows the shed, beautiful foxgloves, an old metal bin, a few dandelion heads and leaves. I am so excited that 'The Potting Shed' has been selected for display at an Etching Exhibition 'Draw and Bite' at Kaleidoscope Gallery, Sevenoaks.

This aquatint was made by placing an etched plate into an Aquatint Box, rosin dust then settles onto the plate, graduations of white in the plate are achieved by painting 'stop out' onto the plate and placing it into an acid bath for different amounts of time. A tricky process which takes skill, good timing and a bit of luck.

Print size - 19.5cm wide, 26.5cm high. Printed onto Somerset paper with Intaglio black etching ink.

The listing is for an unframed etching, the print will be posted in a strong cardboard tube protected with a cellophane slip and tissue paper.

Please note that the copyright of this work is retained by the artist.

Refund Policy - If you have changed your mind you can return the print to me (in the same packaging and in perfect condition) you will need to pay for the return postage. Please e mail me beforehand so we can arrange a return and refund.
